Very Nice From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/15/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I'm staying in a corporate apartment for a few months during student teaching. I've been here almost 2 months now. Everything is very clean and in great shape. The washers and dryers are brand new, and the lobby is very nice. There are security cameras everywhere, which makes me feel very safe, and it's located about a block from Allentown (within walking distance of everything you need), but is actually in a nice quiet area. The day before I moved in, I pointed out a hole in the wall inside the closet. It was fixed by the time I moved in, less than 24 hours later! The maintenance worker on my floor introduced himself on day 1, and let me know I could ask him if I needed anything. I haven't yet- everything has been perfect- but he seems to always be around in case I did need him! There is even a 24 hour emergency number in case you need something fixed immediately. The staff are really some of the nicest people I know, and there is a very nice mix of people living there- old and young, working class and business class! I pay $700 a month for the corporate studio (short-term), and the security deposit was only $250! All utilities are included and it's fully furnished. Garbage is also very easy- there's a garbage room on each floor. You just throw your bags in. Decor- My room has high ceilings, beautiful huge windows with blinds, the ceiling is white and the walls are a nice beige. All the furniture is real wood, everything matches beautifully. I wouldn't change a thing (except for the table and chairs, which aren't too comfortable). Noise- The walls are solid concrete- my room is right across from the lobby, so the only time I hear noise is when people are talking loudly in the lobby. I think my apartment is the only one with that problem though- and it really doesn't bother me. I don't have a parking space (no car), but the lot is gated, well-lit, and there are security cameras. I believe it costs $30/month (I may be wrong) Would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone! I feel completely comfortable and SAFE here!
