My mother has been a resident for 10 years, we have had to replace the floor ourselves in the bathroom and kitchen. Her appliances are from the 1970's and the stove breaks down constantly. The dishwasher does not work. She has constant leaks from the apartments above her, and her ceiling is stained. Her patio door does not lock, she needs to place a block in the track. Her carpet is the origianl for the apartment, and actually holds moisture and is matted down from years of wear and tear. The heat is terrible, they have replaced the boiler, and the heat stays on constantly and temperatures above 90 degrees, she has to keep the windows open all winter long, they don't seem to care that they are wasting the heat. The kitchens are outdated, her cupboards just open at will, as the latched are all worn off. I was promised that her carpet would be changed at lease renewel, but have not heard from the complex. My advice is to skip over this complex unless it is your only option.
