My wife and I have lived here for alomst 2 years now. We seriously thought of moving last year but when the place got new owners and a new landlord, we thought that we'd give it another shot. One year later, the place is no better. Maintance does not know how to fix anything correctly. I have on occasion fixed things in my apartment because I was not willing to wait until they finally got to it, only to do it have-assed. Our manager is nice and I kind of feel sorry for her. I do not think that everything is her fault. I believe the problem lies with our very cheep owners who live somewhere in the Catskills. When was the last time that they visited' Who knows. According to the rumors that I have heard from other tenents, the building's insulation is not up to code. Therefore, they are going to have to blow more insulation into the walls or the State will fine them in 2007. This is why the heating bill is so high. Appliances are old and badly in need of replacing. In the past, when we said that we needed something new, management simply went to an empty apartment, took it out of that apartment and transfered it to ours.

If you still happen to look at this place check out the following: The many shingles that are off the roof, bushes that have not been trimmed in over a year, the very poor lighting which are on timmers and very often break down, the poor lighting at the entrance, no handicap entrances into the apartments...this is only outside. While inside, look at the old appliances, check for large and small splaters of white paint on the lanolium floors because 10 to one, they will paint the walls and cielings but not cover the floors (this was the case when we moved in), cracks in the drywall where the cieling and walls meet, places where the roof leaked or is currently leaking.
