I have lived at Candlewood for 5 years too long! I want to move but don't have time or energy right now. The has always been a problem here. The place is on its second owner but nothing has changed. I am told the current owner purchased the place sight unseen. There has been a succession of managers, some tried to make things better, others ripped the place off. Maintenance is not a priority. There is a constant succession of maintenance personnel--most of them are unskilled and do not care what kind of job they do. Garbage disposal is a health hazard and should be reported to the county health department. Dogs are allowed and there has been huge feces problem on the lawns. Three reasons I have not moved -- can't take the time to do it, I love having a stacked washer and dryer (goes with the apartment), and the price was reduced because I am a senior. Soon I will move to senior housing and will make my last move then. But if you do not have to move to Candlewood, DON'T!
