As the other 2 reviews have stated, there are not words strong enough to voice my displeasure at Carriage Village. I've lived in 5 different apartment complexes, in 3 different states, and can honestly say this takes the cake as far as incompetent and uncaring management, horrible tenants, and expense. We had a very similar problem to the other previous reviewers - next-door neighbors who (and we were even told this by management) were not screened in any way when they were allowed to sign the lease. The man of the house, if you can call him that, would come home 2 weekends a month and scream, throw things and generally wreak havoc. You're thinking - 2 weekends a month, that's not horrible' Well, the other times 4 teenagers (yes, 4) were left alone nearly night and day as their mother was "working." They partied, ran loose in the parking lots, had fights where they banged each other against the (common) wall, and played music/tv at the loudest possible volume. Repeated beggings to management resulted in them saying we should call the police. Hmm, if you had Attila the Hun living next door, would you call the police on him' We eventually had to break our lease to get out of the place, resulting in a loss of our deposit. Absolutely the pits.

Wow! Thanks for the info. Did you look for other apts. in Caz? A village apt. in an older home? What was your rent and was it reasonable for the area?
