Only getting better...

Hawthorne Court is trying to re-establish themselves as is the rest of Central Islip. I have lived at other properties that aren't even being renovated and have had many more problems from the office to maintenance. Hawthorne Court was acquired by Home Propeties a little over a year ago, and it's only gotten better since then. Everyone has to be a little bit more understanding and patient that this is a big property, and renovating over 50 buildings inside & out is not an overnight process (weather permitting). I received a free month when I moved in, but the Leasing Staff informed me that this was to compensate because of the future construction that would be going on, not a ploy to get me to rent with them. If you're looking for the "PERFECT" community, it's not going to happen anywhere you go. There will always be something to contend with just as if you were to own your own home; the only difference with renting is that financially, it's not your responsibility. It sounds like the poeple that are complaining will not be happy anywhere they go, it's just in their nature to complain about everything. GOOD LUCK finding something reasonably priced with spacious apartments like the ones here at Hawthorne Court when you decide not to renew your lease...it's not gonna happen. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
