I have lived here for almost 7 years. I can afford to move out but I have chosen to stay. The office staff and maintenance staff have always been very kind and considerate. When I ask for something to be done they do it as quickly as possible. If they complain, oh well, everyone has a bad day and I leave it at that. Sometimes I may be having a bad day and come off with an attitude when I speak to them. It happens and I will apologize. Most often though my requests are taken care of and without me screaming and shouting.

They know my children on sight and always keep an eye out for them. They are always laughing, smiling and cracking jokes.

Yes they have been renovating for some time but nothing gets renovated overnight. They have steadily been fixing both the outside and inside of the apartments and of course you will always run into a problem when you work with construction. Haven't you ever driven by a house that has been being built for over a year. Its over 400 units, what does everyone expect.

I think its a nice place to live. My sons have lots of friends here whose parents have lived here just as long as we have. My neighbors always say hello and we often stop outside to chat or watch the children play. As in any place, you will have children who are uncontrollable and of course you will see people hanging out or blasting music. They pay rent too. If you don't want to see it, hear it or deal with it don't live in an apartment, go buy a house in a forest with a big fence and live like a hermit.

My apartment is very spacious and nice and I believe for the area I live in and rental pricing in New York I pay a fair price. All my appliances are new and work very well. I have had heat every winter and every summer central air.

The pool is wonderful place to spend summer afternoons and the lifeguards are always very nice and friendly.

Central Islip is a very nice area that has been going through its own changes steadily for years. The shopping is close as are the buses and train station.

I have walked through the complex late at night and lots of the teenagers walk around at night and there have not been any incidents.
