I was a resident in Concord Village or what is now called Hawthorne Courts. Overall I didn't feel safe there. There were always people arguing in the yard and you could hear your next-door neighbor screaming at any hour. The walls are very thin and I don't think they are sound proof at all. Insects are all over and getting rid of them became almost impossible. I come from a very clean and neat family and I couldn't take the roaches. Once they started "renovating", covering faults, it was impossible to get rid of them and when your neighbors are not as clean as you forget it they'll come inside again.

The maintenance guys are nice, yes. With whom ever they like! And sleep in late, I don't think so because they are loud and really don't respect that you ask for them to keep it down.

My uncle lived in these apartments for more than 15 years and the day he left he said they were at it's worst.

The price they are asking now for an apartment is kind of high. Residents started to leave and when you asked why, everyone said that it was too much money for the apartments: the apartments are not very nice or clean, they cover everything up. The walls are more a thick layer of paint and there was graffiti in many places. The new administration tried to cover them up as quickly as possible but I had a nice work of art for more than three months in my hallway!!

Parking: A mess!! Everyone parked where ever they pleased once the new administration took over. Before, there was an order but sometimes it was very difficult to maneuver around the parking lots. A car caught fire in the parking lot once and there were plenty of cars that weren't move for months.

Overall, this is not a great place if you are looking for a good, quiet and peaceful complex. I still rate this place as a C, only because now it looks nice!!!
