I lived for a year in two-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. Obviously, I had no problems with residents above me making noise.

The cost includes free cable (about 70 channels), water and central air. You do have to pay for electricity.

I had a problem with my heater and they fixed the situation within a day. However, the fix to my noisy (and nearly constantly running) toilet was laughable.

There is ample parking in the complex. Security is a little weak. There was a resident in one of the building breaking into cars and as far as I know they weren't caught. After this, the management had Cheektowaga police start patroling the complex which helped.

All first and second level apartments have porches which is nice. The building were built in the 1970s and it does tend to show a little. The wood does creak and the cabinets could use a makeover. There is washers and dryers in every building. Each apartment has a mini-storage area in the garden level which is about 2-3 feet wide and about 8-10 feet high. There is ample closet space in both bedrooms. You have a linen closet just outside the bathroom and a coat closet just inside the front door. Appliances include a dishwasher and a refrigerator/freezer.

The best thing about the place though is the ducks. There are at least a hundred of them that roam the complex during the spring to summer (you even see them in the winter but not when it's too cold). Take a loaf of bread and have fun feeding them!

the ducks are nice and they are cute when they hatch. But they also crap all over the place and roost outside your windows, not neccesarily a plus especially if you have animals and live on the ground floor. Just something to think about
