Run! Do not rent at Knollcrest!

We only wished we had gotten this type of advice before we moved in. *Luxury Apartments* these are not. Aside from being an old complex, when any type of remodeling is done, the cheapest of materials are used and they are OBVIOUSLY not done by professionals-the workmanship is horrific. The management could care less if you have a leaky shower, leaky roof/window, rotten deck, broken appliance or any other type of problem. When you report it, you are treated as if you?re crazy and it?s actually because of something you did that the problem exists. They are not professional and do not know how to talk to and treat people. It?s almost as if the property owner placed the ad: "Unexperienced, Unintelligent & Rude Superintendent(s) Wanted for Shabby Apartment Complex in Chester, NY." And yes, the grounds are appealing to the eye, and the rooms are large - but those are the only 2 good things about this place. And yes you are also allowed pets - but there is a $500 non-refundable fee and then an additional $50 each/month. Don?t make the same mistake we did. Keep looking.
