I've lived here for just over 6 months. I like it. The location is perfect, just far enough "out there" but close to a lot of conveniences. The "Park" in Parklands comes from the fact that Black Creek Park is right behind the property. The units are attractive inside (no wacky finish colors) and out and it's nice to have a vaulted ceiling (upper unit), horizontal blinds and a full size washer/dryer. My walk-in closet is big. A one BR is perfect for one person, 2 people would be too cramped in my opinion. I don't know how 2 people got in a 1 BR anyway, my lease only allows one person in my unit.(') The place is in good shape as they are only a few years old, however dogs of any size are allowed in the lower units, which I can't believe. I feel safe here and the property manager was very nice to deal with. I sometimes hear my neighbors but nothing out of the ordinary for apartment living. My only complaint and it is a small one is the parking situation. We don't have "assigned" parking and there are eight units in my bldg. and most are occupied by 2 people and there are 10 spaces in front of our bldg. I sometimes have to park in the overflow area and my apt. is the farthest from the lot. Oh well, beats having to park in the street.
