These apartments aren't bad looking and the price is OK for the area but it's really not worth the hassle. The windows are not fit properly or insulated, you can actually feel wind blowing through the sides in the winter, makes for a high heating bill. There are always kids running around in the streets and no one pays attention to them. Some of the neighbors can be VERY loud and annoying. And some of them are over-sensitive. As in my husband and I were complained about several times for having the TV on, just on, not loud at all. The women at the rental office are generally very rude and pushy. No one is ever in a good mood there and they don't want anything to do with any complaints you may have. The parking is also a nightmare, I have had to park on the grass many many times. Maintenance isn't too bad at fixing things promptly however when we moved in the apartment was not painted, the carpets had stains on them, and the kitchen and bathroom we dirty. We moved in because we had seen another one that was clean and were very disappointed in the actual apartment we wound up with, we spent the whole first couple days cleaning instead of unpacking. Also be aware that you will most probably NOT get your security deposit back. They will make any and every excuse to not reimburse you. My particular building also had a spider problem that they refused to do anything about and I had to get my own bug spray to get rid of them even in common areas like the hallways between apartments. The apartments aren't bad looking, they have W/D hookups which is nice, and Clifton Park is a nice place to live, but it really isn't worth the trouble. I can't wait for my lease to be up.
