Clifton Court Apartments owns many complexes in the area but this review is for Cranberry Estates. I miss my years spent there. Rent was cheap, it was quiet, safe and most of all...it had a HUGE kitchen. The building materials/appliances/windows/cabinets were DEF NOT top of the line. The windows were funky & the frames bent. The staff seemed on top of everything & seemed very friendly. I never had any issues with them. I was late paying rent & they were very good about it. The walls are thin...but not as bad as other places. They do have an ant problem in the Spring...but put out a few traps & they are gone right away. Ants are common everywhere in Clifton Park though. The space in this apt is impressive. Even though the bedrooms are small...you have a ton of storage space. In my kitchen I was able to fit a huge island, kitchen table & a Tall industrial stainless steel shelving unit. The carpet was an issue. It wasnt installed very well & it would bubble up in places. The building I lived in was off to the side & was the only building on that side, sunken in. The lot was small, so if you have any friends visiting they need to park in another lot. The placement of the building was the best & worst thing about the apartment. Because we were off to the side, it seemed more removed from kids playing in the parking lots or noise. The down side was the lot became a sheet of ice in the winter. Snow removal could be better here...but I suspect in my lot it was worse because we were at the bottom of the hill. I sound like Im being negative but believe me, these things were not that bad. It was a peaceful place to live. I loved my old apt. I saw deer, fox & wild turkeys all the time. I would of never moved, but I was forced to because I became sick & had to move in with family. When I moved, I got most of my security back. They deducted $$ for various things...but for nothing outrageous. They were very fair. The ladies at the office were very understanding about my situation. I would highly recommend renting in Cranberry Estates...because i had a great experience!!!
