I'm so sorry to read some of the other comments on this list. I lived at Foxwood from 1973-1979 and it was great! Of course, they were (1) almost brand new apartments and (2) under different management.
Probably the best thing I liked was the incredible physical layout, including the landscaped walking paths. There were trees, running streams, a large pond with a fountain...all in all, quite impression for a simple apartment complex. The Clubhouse was top-notch, as were the tennis courts and swimming pool. We loved going there for the billiards, ping pong and sauna, the chess room and an living room/library area complete with a kitchen on the top floor. I even held my high school graduation party there.
We lived at 1901 Huntridge Drive in a lower level two bedroom, 2 bath with a fireplace.
I visited again back in 1998 and other than looking a bit older, and the trees a bit taller, it looked much the same. The Clubhouse has been updated to include an exercise equipment room down where the old billiards room used to be.
Back then, all the buildings had numbers (there were 29 of them, I believe). The master plan included building a lot more, back where the other complex is now located, but that never materialized.
My ratings are obviously way out of date, but I'd have to give it all "5's" when I lived there. Sorry to hear it may have changed.
