I lived there a few years ago and I have a family member who currently lives in Forest Pointe, behind Foxwoods, so I drive by almost on a daily basis. When I lived there, I paid $665 for a 1 br and a den, this was supposed to include heat. Yeah right. My electric bill a month was $145. The first 2 months I was there, my heat didn't work and it was December. They would wait days after I would call to come over, and then they wouldn't fix it. As for your security deposit, I used it for my last months rent because I knew how they were. I recommend this to everyone who lives there! On inspection, I was there and made sure that they didn't mark anything wrong, which they didn't. This place is poorly insulated, I had mold all around my windows and slider, in the bathroom, where you could see they just painted over it. The wall in my kitchen was bowing out and everytime you would open the dishwasher it would scrape the wall leaving this huge mark. When I told them about the problem, they did absolutely nothing! DCG has a huge racket going with all of their apartments including Twin Lakes, that look just as awful on the outside as Foxwoods do. They are way over priced and shouldn't be. These apartments have gone down hill so much, they actually look like scum holes, which they are. Don't waste your money here, there are better places out there than these apartments. I live in Oak Brook Commons in Clifton Park right now, there are $875 a month, but huge, gorgeous and very well maintained! I recommend these places to evryone!!! I've also live in Clifton Court Apartments in Clifton Park, DO NOT LIVE HERE EITHER!!! These may be newer, but they are made so cheaply you could put a dent in the wall with your finger, no joke either. You can hear your neighbors doing things you'd rather not here!!!
