If you sign DCG's lease you will be signing your life away!!!

My Boyfriend and I were looking for a place to stay and settle down in the Capital District area. We have a small dog and were amazed that not many apartment complexes take pets at all. We came across Foxwoods and put down $100 to hold the apartment and $20/ea for applications. The manager told me the $100 was refundable, that is not true and when you sign the application it says they can keep the money after 3 days. Keep in mind it took them 5 days to process our applications. I was warned from a woman from my work who lives there that you wont get your $650 pet deposit back no matter what. I went over the lease with my lawyer and he said it was the worst lease he'd ever seen. By signing that lease you waive the right of a trial by jury. Right there you should stop and look somewhere else. I found a place and he (Rob) waived the pet deposit and rent. He also took $50 off the monthly rent. Please look at Parkwood Apartments before going with Foxwoods. If you have any qurstions please email me.
