What to do about the black light test

First of all the Black light test is BS. When we moved in the carpets were not new (in fact had stains on them). There also was no black light test when we moved in to establish a baseline. My dog has NEVER gone to the bathroom inside. Additionally there is such as thing as reasonable wear and tear for an apartment --- when i have lived here 2 years, and the carpet was not new when I moved in.....it is reasonable that foxwoods should put in a new carpet --- this should not be coming out of my or anyone else's security deposit.
Take them to small claims court and protest it -- just don't let it go because that is how they get away with this practice.
