Fox Run formerly Foxwood Apartments

I didn't have any major problems with Fox Run, but I had enough little problems that never got solved to make me not want to live there again. There is never any parking available, and when I suggested assigned parking spots, I was brushed off. Also, we had a dog. When we moved out they tried to say that we had to pay to replace all the carpets in the apartment because the dog had gone to the bathroom all over the apartment. My dog is 4 years old, perfectly trained, never once went to the bathroom inside. NEVER. That was a huge fight. For future reference those of you with dogs, ask to see the blacklight test from previous tenants in your apartment. Most of the stains carry over through the tenants and they just say its new carpet so they can charge you for it. Another thing that was a problem for us was that one of the washers in our building had broken with a full load in it, the person whos clothes it was apparently forgot about it, so I let the maintenance guys know and they said they would get to it right away. About two months later, when the clothes was moldy and stunk up the whole laundry room, they finally had it pumped. But still didn't fix the washer. There were other problems too, but I doubt any of you care about my experience, just know that I don't recommend Fox Run, I just think there are better apartments out there for less money.
Like I said, I never had huge problems here, but I am not pleased overall with the experience. I live in a bigger complex now, and I feel that the care is much more personalized, and problems are addressed right away. So whats your excuse Fox Run'

I hate to say but I agree with you. Terrible experience and also confirmed by many other renters. RENTERS BEWARE! Not to say they can not change, but I would make sure.

The lease is absurd --- seriously it is airtight and my sister who is a lawyer look at it. It is ridiculous to break if you need to...will cost you an arm and a leg and they will screw you on your security deposit. I lived there for 3 years and had minimal problems (other than thing walls where neighbors were going at it at all hours of the night, people with pit bulls that somehow pass as a lab mix, horrible parking

Hmmm, Im very happy here, yes, thin walls, but thats okay...tight lease but nothing in it that should be a problem...you can always view it before you move in...there are a few dogs here that I didnt think would pass, but they are all very nice animals, we have a pug, and we've never came across a mean dog yet here! I'll let you know what happens with our security deposit, we had to put down 2 months rent b/c of my score, which at first was fine, then wasnt, confusing, but didnt matter..I assumed it was money in the bank, b/c we always take care of our properties...

Where do live now? I'm currently looking for a 1 bedroom that allows dogs. It's hard to find a place in the area that has good reviews.
