I know personally of the incident involved in this posting. If you read the article carefully you will see that the man who posted it admits that he initiated the incident by blocking in his neighbor because "he did not like the way the man parked". He also states that he had no other place to park which is totally inaccurate as we all know there is space on the road plus he also failed to mention he has a garage at the end of the building where he should be parking. I admit racial slurs are not acceptable, but I have also heard that his neighbor acted out of character because of the insistence of his neighbor that he should apologize for his parking and the arrogance of the neighbor. This man has also complained about every tenant in the building. He finds fault with all. In my opinion, both neighbors acted inappropriately and the man who wrote the article about the slurs did not go to management about parking but instead chose to antagonize his neighbor. They both were right to get letters from the management. Also, he does not know what conversations management has had with his neighbor, and again in his posting, admits he tried to obtain information about the neighbor from management. I'd like to see his reaction if management gave out his information. I think we can tell from the format of his letter what that would be. He seems to want to be the one to keep this incident going instead of considering that maybe they both acted inappropriately. I have been at Hollandale for many years and this tends to sound like a racial attack from him regarding types of people HE does not like that may have come to Hollandale. My experience has been nothing but positive at Hollandale. Let's get real people, no place is perfect but they make a constant effort and beat any other complex I've been to. Do you really expect Management to babysit everybodys kids and solve everyones problems' Just because you rent does not mean someone else is responsible to solve your every issue.

FANTASTIC! You represent the majority of good, decent people who rent at Hollandale and it is so nice to read a well-written account of a very unfortunate incident. You also make a good point about how some people expect management to take care of every little problem. We are adults, are we not?? (at least most of us). Thanks for taking the time to eloquently express your thoughts!
