I was a tenant here unfortunatly and i had 2 lousy roommates. I had a lot of problems regarding my roommtes who were breaking rules listed on the lease, such as keeping a pitbull there (according to the lease if one of these animals is found you lease will be terminated). My roomates keep the dog a secret until managment found out about it and did nothing. Then i brought up the fact that my roomates snuck the dog into the apt so they wouldnt get charged for ir and mentioned it was a pitbull and still the did nothing. I also mentioned that due to family problems and the fact my daughter would not live there because of how dirty my roomates kept the apt, and she was afraid of the dog, all managment said was tell you family dont tell us. After much arguing with both parties we all decided to sign the early termination lease and pay $1504. We all agreed but the only way was if i paid the full amopunt even though there were 3 parties on the lease. They wouldnt enforce that my 2 roomates pay because they didnt have a problem with the place. When i brought it up to managment that they should be responsible for their portion managment told me we dont enforcr who pays as long as we get the money. So i finally got the 1504 as suggested then managment calls me and says that i owe another 200 dollars. According to the termination agreement that they gave me it says after the 1504 was paid we would be all set to move. I paid the monet in full 1504, and all i got was harrassing phine calls from managment saying i owe 200 more. When i asked why i didnt have it in writing they told me they didnt have to put it in writing.
In the office there is a sign that states if its not in writing it doesnt exist.
Noww for the other problems, black mold in the baedroom windows, marijuana smoke in the hallways, lots of loud barking dogs, loud music at night, dripping pipes that lead to a leak in the bathroom, washer and dryers that only work off of tokens that you can only get in the office when its open, and the office closes by 5 pm and is rarely open on weekends. Not enough washwers and dryers for the entire buildings.
Complaints to their corporate office only go back to the managment and nothing gets done about them.
