I made the mistake of being fooled by the staff when I was shown an apartment 6 months ago (doing the quick once over). I move in and it ALL started. Insects everywhere, shoddy groundskeeping, poor upkeep of the buildings' structures... it's a joke. They built these places back in the 70's using veery cost cutting measure they could muster up, there are holes in the wals that allow cold air in, things take forever to get repaired (they don't usually get repaired correctly anyway), the washers and dryers supplied suck (you have to dry clothes three times to get them dry) and the apartments are full of mold and allergens due to the terrible structural quality (you won't notice it when you do the quick once over looking at the places, but you'll notice when you move in waking up and blowing your nose to no end and struggling to breathe). This place is awful, I can't wait to go.

I agree, Parkwood is bad. I lived there a year ago and left 4 months after I moved in... no big surprise there, you can find something cheaper and nicer in CP where you won't be plagued by allergies, insects and microorganisms.

Parkwood is the definition of bad... If you want to live in CP look elsewhere. If you just need to stay there for a short period of time then fine. Fair warning if you choose to renew your lease they raise the rent alot. When I moved in it was $660 when I left I was paying approx. $800 (lived there for 3 years - sad I know)
