My situation is probably different than most of the other reviewers, but it my experience might be useful to you.

Solomon Apartment Management bought several apartment complexes on Sitterly Rd., and it looks like they are all lumped in together on this site. I stayed in the original Twin Lakes complex. My company put me up here for three months as part of a relocation, so my apartment was managed by the "corporate housing" manager. The current manager of the corporate apartments (just regular apartments sprinkled around the complex), Mara, is very competent and helpful, all problems, questions, maintenance items, were handled swiftly and competently.

The apartment was a 1 BR/1Bath, with a den. It was constructed in 1970, and is not exactly gleaming. If you look closely at the outside, it is a little shabby. But the inside is well maintained and has good paint and newish carpet, and everything works. The A/C and heater is indeed a little loud but it isn't that bad. My unit had an excellent floor plan and view. Neighbors were fine, pleasant, no noise issues. Overall, the grounds are pretty nice, and walking the perimeter of the 40 acre site is a good half hour excercise period without having to dodge cars.

It is not perfect, but I had a better experience here than I expected from reading the rest of the reviews. Perhaps it was good luck, or perhaps the management of the corporate units has fewer problems and tenants to attend to.
