Please, anyone considering renting from Twin Lakes- DON'T!!! The washer and dryer that should have been in my apartment came two weeks later than what was promised. When I called the office to see what was going on the girl rudely said she didn't know anything and didn't know who I should talk to. The air conditioning and the heat are VERY LOUD. If you have the air on and the dishwasher running, plan on not being at home because the tv or radio will have to be turned up alot for you to hear anything. The appliances are from the early 80's and my oven wasn't cleaned at all when I moved in. Of the four drip pans that should have been on the stove, there was only 1 when I walked into my apartment- where did the other 3 go''' The drain in the bathroom sink always got clogged and I always kept a bottle of Draino underneath the sink. There were spiders and bugs in the apartment constantly. I don't know where they were coming from considering I didn't have the sliding door open very much. Speaking of the sliding door, there was mold growing on the bottom right hand corner of it, inside the living room. But the absolute worst thing about Twin Lakes is the Property Manager. She lied right to my face about when she contacted the regional office about my situation when I had talked to regional a couple days before and they told me they have never even heard of my situation. Yet when I talked to the Manager at Twin Lakes she said she had been in contact with the regional office for over two weeks. Apparently she didn't think her story through before I came to see her in the office.... Managers obviously should ALWAYS be professional and lieing and ignoring someone's calls so they stay in the apartment longer so they will have to pay more is the most unprofessional action a manager can do. She just wanted me to stay longer to pay more rent, and thats all that Twin Lakes cares about is money. They do not care about their clients well being and up keep of the apartments. Yea I know the renovated apartments look nice on the website but the apartment you really get is run down and old! I deeply regret doing business with Twin Lakes and wish I would have never lived there. Spend your money elsewhere and not on Twin Lakes.

I feel so bad. I used to work there back in 1997-1998 and we had a fabulous staff and the management was tops. I know that the staff has changed since I left the state as I have contact with folks I worked with. I lived there on site when I worked there and I remember none of the claims in these reviews. I am so sorry this place has gone downhill. I remember it being a goreous property in demand. We stayed busy and we were very polite. I sure hope someone does something to change the way it is.
