I have to agree with most of the "not impressed" post. This place is purely a money making operation. Although the apartments are very pretty, everything is cheaply put together and maintained. The best thing about this place is that you can have a dog.

Well, most newer construction including new home construction is all cheaply built. My mother lives at the landings. We have been to visit her several times. Her apartment is bright airy modern etc. Most complexes are in it for the money, and so are most developers who sell you a new home for 300,000 dollars in what you think is a great development only to find poor construction, inferior materials, toilets backing up, and cheap plumbing. We live in maryland around 45 minutes from washington. Rents here will cost you over 1000 dollars a month just in rent for very small 600 square foot apartments that still have appliances from the 1980"s in them. Don't complain. Sounds to me like you never left the capital district!

"jvriesema" either works for the landings or spends way too much time on the internet. I am considering the landings but if I have to live near this guys mom I may reconsider.
