Be Careful! From: abemozes@yahoo.com Date posted: 6/30/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   I lived at Avalon Pines for two years. Overall, my experience in the community was a positive one, save for some parking trouble and irresponsible maintenance people who asserted that a smoke-alarm chirping in the middle of the night did not consitute a "maintenance emergency." Now that I'm moved out, however, Avalon's true colors are beginning to show- despite that I moved out on the very last day of the lease, an extra two days of prorated rent were deducted from my security deposit, as was a total of $550 dollars in "damages" that my fiancee' will attest were not present. Next step will likely be small claims' court. Prospective tenants beware!
