Well, I lived at the Mansions at Delmar for the past 5 years, starting right when they were finishing building the place. At that time I met the previous and original owner who was extremely gracious and nice. He let me live in a 1 bdrm for about 6 months while they finished building the 2 bdrm I was going to move into. One time move-in cost, no hassle, just really nice management at that point. Over the 5 years, I can say that it is a pleasant place to live. Calm, quiet, kinda condo like, and very safe. Rent is high compared to other nearby areas, but the location is key. However, the quality of the buildings are so-so. You can see some cheapness in the materials they used, but it never posed a problem. Recently, the original owners have sold the property. I got a bad vibe from the new management, but who knows. Maybe it's still ok, but I would ask around to be sure. They don't seem like a group to go out of their way to please loyal tenants. It seems like business is business.
