I have lived in at least 17 different apartments over the course of my career. I have never, ever experienced such poor and unaccountable management. They are rude and there is absolutely no follow through. We have been trying for months to speak with the propery manager, Eric, however, we have been told that staff can not give out his number, they can't give out his location on any given day (ie the property he might be working at, we have left messages on the voice mail ( when it's not completely full and unable to accept messages), we have left message for staff. Basically, we have been leaving message since late April, with no return call. The staff obviously receives aboslutely no training in the fundamentals of returning phone calls and addressing habitability issues vis a vis the warranty of habitability etc.). Friends and co workers and people in the community are only too aware of our travails. We laugh at the unbelievable irony that this place would ever be called "The Mansions." Our last neighbors had bugs and mold -- they were also elderly and were forced to do the shoveling! It's a dump!

I lived there from Sept. '03 through October '05 and at that time it wasn't nearly as bad as it is today... They had a great maint. guy named Robert who had great follow-through on all issues. They also had a different office-staff who were also very good... The "Mansions" has changed ownership as of spring/summer '06 and from what I understand, it has gotten very, very bad.. (cont.) Yes, the apartments look nice driving down Fisher Blvd. with their Victorian flare, however, looks are deciving... and, quite frankly, it's an overpriced DUMP!
