Autumn Creek advertised itself as pet friendly community. Beware as they don't disclose all the charges up front!!! You can bring your pet but it's very costly. When I signed the pet addendum, I was made aware of the pet deposit ($250 refundable $250 non-refundable) on top of your regular $500 deposit. I was also made aware of the $25/month pet rent. I am absolutely fine with both.
I vacuumed the apartment clean and I even steam cleaned the unit before I moved out. The condition was absolutely meticulous, it was even noted during the move out inspection. I was told I would get all my refundable deposit back as no visible damage was inspected. To my surprise, I found another $150 deduction to my refundable deposit which they claimed was used toward professional cleaning for the unit. I asked for a copy of invoice as I suspected they never really did this as there was absolutely no need for it. They were unable to provide me with a copy of the invoice which I felt I was entitled to if I had to pay $150 for this "professional cleaning".
So, pet owners... prepare to come up with large sum of money if you plan to rent at Autumn Creek Apartment. The biggest rip off in apartment community!!!
