When you walk into the apartments as a prospective buyer, you are pretty much blown away...from the cherry cabinets in the kitchen to the huge bathroom to the walk-in closet, the Apartments at Forrest Pointe are very aesthetically pleasing. After you sign the lease...then reality sets in. I have lived in the one-bedroom, downstairs apartment facing the woods (yes we pay extra for the view) for over two years, and we have really seen it all...
-mold in alomst every closet and next to the bed;
-ice build-up on the windows and doors;
-hundreds of millipedes;
-slugs...in the apt;
-a mouse recently;
-ants;
-spiders;
-peeling floors;
-pulled carpet;
-miscoding the electric/heat meter so National Grid retro charged me for almost $700.
-$150/month electric/heat for two people.
-Their appliances are supposed to be energy star, but when you have horribly insulated walls and windows that leak heat it is very energy inefficient.
The office staff usually is very friendly, but we will be out of here in 6 months!
