The "free" WiFi service never worked, despite numerous calls to WiFi Fee and rental office. The noise from the apartment above it outrageous! They stomp around all hours of the day/night, sounds like they are running marathons and throwing furniture. Plus, the kids are out of control here. They don't play outside their own apartments, just go in front of other buildings to scream, throw their toys at the walls and windows, etc. It is impossible to keep up with the mold problems here. The doors, windows, and walls are so poorly insulated, the Nat'l Grid bill for two people is $150/month and that is keeping the heat down to 62 all winter long! I cannot wait to move as soon as my lease is up in the fall. I agree w/the other poster that the apartments are impressive when first seen, but the one you end up with will not look like that. The stove takes at least 1/2 hour to warm up and the fridge sound as though it will die at any moment. Ours had crayon marks all over the walls/doors, colored paint on the torn, holey carpet and the carpet was supposedly just cleaned before we moved in, but had to walk around in shoes at all times for the first 3 weeks because of how dirty the carpet was. The apartment is definitely not worth the money, too expensive for a moldy, dirty place.
