Staff in LBV II (or should we call La Mauvaise Vie') is unhelpful, rude and unreasonable. Every time I phoned them for something, there was a lenghthy argument that they make your request unjustful. There were spiders and ants and lavae in the apartment, we requested to have pest spray and they said that these insects are harmless!

This organization tries every way to reach into your pocket. The interest of our deposit is $24 something per year, $20 is for the apartment management fee and $4 dollar is your share!

We needed to move in 5 days before the end of the month, they charged us 5 day prorated rent. But when we moved out, we paid for the whole month rent, we could not move out at the end of the month, since the last days of the month fell into weekend, we had to move out 3 days early and no refund at all!

For 3 months (until we left) there was a broken dryer in the laundry room eventhough there was requests posted on the machine to have it fix (Don't they collect the money everyday', the sign was thrown in the garbage and the broken machine remained).

Quite often, there were police cars around the complex - don't know what it's about, but it does not seem right.

Don't be deceived by the lower rent, you pay for the electric bill, which includes the range and oven - it turns out the same as the rent at other better facilities, but include gas cooking.

Overall, avoid LBV if you can. If not, be prepared to deal with the unbearable staff.
