I have lived here for 2 years and I have never had any major problems with the place. Anyone who rents should be aware of what they are renting. Common sense folks. Don't sign anything until you are certain that it is suitable to your needs. Don't rent an apartment and THEN pick the place, staff and other tenants apart. Do your homework, check the place out, talk to some of the people who live there. And when you move out, keep in mind that the place you're leaving has to be cleaned, painted and carpets shampooed or replaced if necessary and these things cost money. Don't ever expect to get your entire security deposit back, that's what its for. As far as the staff, I have found them to be very nice and always accommodating. As for the insects' I have NEVER had ANY problems. If you live like a slob and don't keep your apartment tidy, of course you're going to get bugs. Don't rent an apartment for $1000 a month and expect to live in Buckingham Palace. If you don't want to deal with noise on occasion, move out East where there is half a city block in between houses. And try minding your own business. If you are disrespectful to your neighbors, don't expect them to respect you and your property. It has been a pleasure here and I look forward to staying.
