I lived on the "NEW" side of LaBonneVie for 5 years. I had to sublet my apt to get out of my lease without losing my security. NOBODY EVER LEAVES WITH THEIR SECURITY!!

Maitenance crew will go through your belongings while you are out. I came home to find the deadbolt locked one day (I only lock deadbolt when I'm home). when I called the office they sounded a bit surprised but quickly said that one of the guys entered to replace a screen. However, they were never able to tell me why the screen wasn't actually replaced or repaired. Nothing was fixed, but I did notice things were moved around in my drawers.

Cars are broken into REGULARLY!!

You never know who your neighbors are going to be -- I came home one night to a crime scene... the guy who lived 2 doors away was arrested for raping a girl in his apartment that afternoon.

Don't plan on getting to work on days that it snows... they will plow you in if they even plow at all!

There are also serious health concerns with the buildings. Many of them have asbestos in the units with attics. Usually Corner units - 2nd floors. These buildings are firetraps and are not really inspected at the OBLIGATORY / MANDATORY (so the management says) annual inspections. The service staff will enter your apt when you are not home, unless you change the locks, as I did. My advice is to go elsewhere. I wonder what is also being done with that unused portion of land" just south of the main complex. Are they still dumping lethal cleaning fluids and other chemicals there ?
