I've lived here for almost five years. The rent has been going up every time I extended the lease without them doing any upgrades to my apartment. I now have an old dark gray carpet, dark wood in the kitchen, which makes it look like we're back in the 1980's, there is only one washer and one dryer in the basement for eight units to share. Each load costs $1.50 and you have to get a laudry card... I could go on with the drawbacks, but overall, I was happy living here. The staff is friendly and helpful and they respond to your emergencies right away. The heat, water, trash and basic cable are included in your rent, so all you pay is rent plus < $15/mth for fairport electric and $60/mth for internet and HD TV to Time Warner Cable. If you can get used to hearing people walk in the apt upstairs and the trains, which you after a few months don't even register, you'll like it here if you're ok with paying $820 (as of January 2008) for a 2-bed, 1 bath (850 sf ft) apt.
