Feels like living with the whole complex

I've been here for about 7 months, my first apartment. It's the worst experience so far. You can hear people walk up and down the stairs. The walls are so thin that the people downstair were argueing at 4 in the morning and woke me up. There are times that the people in the building are watching x-rated movies and you can hear the sounds as you walk up the stairs.

Do you ever wonder, why they show the apartments between 9-5 when half the people in the apartment complex are working' So you don't know how thin the walls are.
