You might want to keep looking

Years at this apartment: 2004-01-01 - 2007-01-01
Wasn't to bad of a place to live until it was bought out late in 2004 by someone or group out of NYC who seem to show a lack of concern over the residents and repairs.
Maintenance isn't given the monies to fix things correctly and are always trying to "make do." Not just the apartments but the grounds have gone down hill. Somewhat slowly but continuously.
Rents however are up. And, we just got notice from the local cable company that the owners are "allowing them" to bill direct to residents. Apparently the owners couldn't be bothered to notify us of this change directly.
When originally renting the apartment cable was provided, I was told included in the rent, and was one of the few perks, and a reason for picking the apartment. The new owner is cutting it off. So its a win/win/lose. Wins for owners and cable company - lose for residents. I really miss the old owner. And, have started looking.
So far we have:
1. Rents up (% more than past years).
2. Repairs not done properly, or at all (no money)
3. Lose of services (cable)
