Disagreement about all the negative submissions

Years at this apartment: 2000-01-01 - 2007-01-01
I lived in this apartment community for years. I am surprised to see the negative comments about the apartment community in recent months. It is hard to imagine the rental staff lying about rental polices and being dishonest when the application paperwork states "in writing" the policies and requirements for rental. Application fees, credit score requirements, income requirements, and apartment s prices are all displayed on the paperwork given at the time of application. It is also extremely upsetting to see a resident write that "segregation" is needed for families with children. Is everyone not aware that the practice of segregating protected classes, such as families, is AGAINST THE LAW?! This is a CRIME punishable by Law. The windows are older, but the heat is FREE. Memos went out each year to protect against people opening their windows and letting the heat out and not conserving energy. Turning up the thermostat and opening windows led to a charge, not keeping your home warm. Snow removal is another winter issue as well. All parking lots were always clear of snow by the end of the workday. Only those cars not moved in the morning have snow around them. Once the cars are move, the snow is moved. I was glad not to have my car damaged by a plow too close to my car trying to get all the snow away before I moved it. The only real problem I saw while living here is when cars did not move out of the parking spots for snow removal. I always came home to a snow free parking area each day. Hands down, this was the best apartment community I ever lived in. If it were not for buying a house, I would still be there.
