not worth the $$

Years at this apartment: 2005-01-01 - 2007-01-01
I lived at Whitney Ridge for 2 years and declined to stay bc of an increase in rent. My overall experience there was decent, the staff, noise and parking are definetly the downfalls. I was fortunate enough to have a parking lot that was one of the quietest until everyone else needed to park there bc there were no spots elsewhere, but there was an abandoned car in our lot that sat for 9 months in one spot and the head maintanance guy parked in that lot the entire time i lived there and declined to do anything about it. The basement apartments definitely suck, but the noise in the main entry way to the buildings is ridiculous for people on the second level as well. The size of the apartment was good, but without the upgraded versions they are definitely dated. The tan carpet and poorly painted white walls just didnt last. Fairport electric was a plus, but the central air sucked when it was really hot. In terms of noise and neighbors we would get complaints and visits from the maintance when we werent being loud and nothing would happen when us or others definitely deserved a noise complaint. The first summer i lived there bees were a huge problem both inside and out. The laundry facilities are convienent, but not worth the 3.50 it takes to do one load. Whitney ridge is for people who want others to think they have a nice place to live or want to waste a mortgage payment on a crappy pretend townhouse.
