I have lived at Whitney Ridge for 9 months now. Before looking at Whitney Ridge, I looked at various apartments throughout Rochester, and found that Whitney Ridge by far surpassed any expectation I had. After reviewing the comments on this site, I must say that I'm surprised. To comment first on the management. What a phenomenal job they do. Before moving in, there had been a problem with our counters. Peter, and the maintenance crew, corrected the problem and replaced everything, without any hesitation. Whenever a light bulb is out, they are there within a few hours to replace it. I can't deny the fact, that we have also had problems with our central air... So what did I do' I didn't complain about it on this website, rather I stopped into the office, told them about it, and they have already put an order in for a brand new unit. I have no idea, how anyone could talk poor about maintenance. Polite and professional are the two words that I would used to describe them... If you are expecting the sidewalks to be salted at 2:30am when getting 2.5in of snow per hour, Whitney Ridge probably isn t the place for you. But if you are looking for a great place to live; really, don't take my word for it, stop by and look for yourself. I m highly impressed and very comfortable here. As is everyone of my neighbors that I have ever spoken with.

You are pretty ignorant to assume that the people who have left negative reviews did not contact management. I have had MANY problems since moving here and I let them know every time, often reminding them as it was necessary. Obviously you had a great experience thus far, but try not insulting those of us who have not had similar luck.

Had problems with heat and air called the office. Do you want to know how many times it took for them to fix it right. SEVEN TIMES!!!!

It is always difficult to take one seriously when they hide behind "anonymous" as a name. True issues should be brought to the attention of the office. We too have not had anything but great results from the office and maintenance. What I find most revolting is the references to rape and racism. Where does that lie fit in? Maybe if all of these issues are real you should take it up with the manager. I hear that is what they are there for on the properties.
