We have currently moved into the South side of Fairield. And I have to say we were a little worried after reading these reviews. However, we have come to our own opinion after being there for only 2 weeks. We Love it! We couln't have asked for anything more. Our neighbors are friendly and quiet. (The only noise you might here are the concerts and shows going on at Bald Hill, all you have to do is sit outside and get a free show.) I am not sure what the others are talking about thin walls because we don't ever hear our neighbors. To be honest we don't even realize we are attached until we are outside looking at the building.
The staff person we dealt with was amazing she was always ready to help us and make sure our place and move-in was a good experience.
Compared to other complexes that we looked at this is the top of the list and we did look all over Long Island for a good place.
We truly have no complaints about this place. And would recommend it to anyone!

I Felt the same as you when I first moved in, that was until three cars, one of them mine had their windows smashed by kids from Island View who thought it would be fun, then I had found out about the drug dealers living there after an arrest was made and it made the newspapers.. No one at Fairfield cared, they responded saying drug dealers live everywhere! Not to mention how I mailed out my rent check, it got there a day late, they sent it back without telling me and they just went ahead and started the eviction process.. The people that work for Fairfield minus the rental mgr are heartless, mean, rude and have no regard for the people that live there, all they care about it getting that rent check on time, hence the reason drug dealers are allowed to traffic out of thier apartments there, so just wait until you have to call the people in Commack. Hope you have better luck than the four or five renters that decided to move out due to these horrible conditions! Fairfield is a Sheep in Wolf's clothing, it looks beautiful on the outside but is terrible on the inside!! I shed many tears living there!

I just moved in last week and it was a nightmare. Nothing that was pronised was done. The women who work in the office dont have a clue. If you call the Commack office you will want to scream. BAsically once they have your check they dont care anymore. The place is nice but pray that you dont have any problems. When you go to the office they had you a piece of paper or tell you to call maintenance, so what exactly do they do in the office? This place is unorganized and the customer service skills just suck.
