I have to say our current manager is one of the best so far, she really does get to know the tenants and acts more like a neighbor rather than a tyrant like past managers. It is fairly clean, landscaping has definitely improved and maintenance does come when you call them. The apartments are definitely oversized and you get a ton for your money- a bunch of walk in closets, tons of storage, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer/cable,dishwasher,disposal, etc. On the downside parking is a lot worse, you have to time it right to try and get a spot otherwise you are parking a building away. On the downside it seems like every week they need to find some excuse to enter your apartment. Fire extinguisher inspection, preventive maintenance, state inspection etc. They never come on the day day they say they are going to and I dont understand why they cant just do fire detectors and maintenance in the same day' Any excuse to spy' But in all fairness this was a lot more true a few years ago under different management. The current manager is the best so far, and she seems to respect us and understand these are our homes, not THEIR buildings. Some people complain about petty things too, if the repair is small enough (leaky faucet, smoke detector battery, caulk, etc) I say just do it yourself) You can't expect maintenance to be all over the small stuff either. Overall I would definitely recommend these apartments, as they are more like condo's and much nicer than what else is on Long Island.
