While living at Jefferson @ Merritt (Spring 2005 thru Spring 2007) , the buildings, grounds, and facilites were well managed. Requests for repairs were handled on a timely basis. However, I noticed that small things were falling thru the cracks just prior to leaving.

As an example, the road ways were cleared of snow before you started for work in the mornings (Dec '05 thru Mar '06). However, for the winter of Dec '06 thru Mar '07, appeared the snow crews were overwhelmed and the roads were not cleared on a timely basis. Had to cut my own trail thru the snow. Fortunately, I drove a 4x4 and made my own path in the early mornings.

Also, parking became a significant issue in mid to late '06. Appeared that there were insufficent spaces in my section and folks were parking next to the curbs making it somewhat difficult to navigate certain parts of the complex. Just one assigned parking space per apartment is insufficient. The majority of occupants are families or couples which means two cars per apartment. The parking situation eased off as I left, but folks were still parking along some of the curbs.

Carpet in my apartment was clean when I moved in, but I suspect it was the original carpet. It was difficult to keep clean no matter what I tried. It should have been replace before I moved in.

Also, was told to expect the refund of my deposit (minus any fix up and clean up) in approximately a month. It's been over a month and was told it would take another "couple of weeks". The "couple of weeks" has passed and I'm still waiting.
