If your considering this apartment complex make a mental check list....parking lot is far from apartment doors, assigned parking for 1 car only, complaints by many who live here, laundry room filthy w/ water on floor, laundry room stinks, too many steps, plumbing in apartments backup, heat pump always goes down in winter, management doesn't care, terrible followup on work orders, snow/ice removal on sidewalks lacks, bugs, turn around of apartments is high....no one wants to stay. Walls and floor are thin you can hear people upstairs, downstairs and aside of you. Plus side...they have a nice pool only one mishap this past summer where someone deficated in the pool. Another plus side is that a lawn care company takes care of the grass. A chemical company sprays the grass every holiday weekend, so if your home your animal has no place to roam even though you pay rent. They claim they are pet friendly but not. Another plus, they planted beautiful flowers in the courtyards.

People are usually better when they are evicted or don't obey the rules and regulations. I believe in this case this is what happened. The staff at Carriage Hill is wonderful and can't say enough about them. I've lived here for 5 years and never once had a problem with them. After the new company took over there were a lot of changes some for the good some not so good. The original staff that was here when I moved in are gone, what a shame since they were extremely helpful and professional. The new staff not so friendly. But, if you have a problem in the apartment they are there to repair it within 2 days if it is not an emergency. I just renewed my lease for another year and I am thrilled I live at Carriage Hill.
