After 1 year there, having second thoughts about staying another year.
Parking - A TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!! No where near the needed amount of parking space's, if you get home from work/visiting/whatever after 5pm, you will be driving around the community to find a parking space, and it'll be NO WHERE near your apartment.This place needs asigned parking, try mentioning that to the girls in the office, you'll get told "O WELL". We looked at the apartment during the day and parking didn't seem bad at all, our fault for not checking during the evening/night. Know better now.
Noise- Hear the folks upstairs, next you walk around! Not much insulation.
Dishwasher - Loud and doesn't clean good at all, have to run a load thru twice.
Laundry - (washer/dryer) Not had any problems so far, work nice.
Maintiance - The guys that come to fix the problems know what there doing are nice and willing to carry on a conversation with you. The Maintaince manger on the other hand is the most miserable person around. Gives the impression that your some renting cockroach that's not worth his time or trouble.
Snow removal - They do get a plus for this, Sidewalks cleaned quickly, roads cleaned the best that can be with cars around.
Garbage- In need of better placement of bins and also in need of bigger ones.
Grounds - A couple of serious parts missing, there is no playground for the kids, I mean NOTHING! They have the space so why not' There is no community area outside, such as some place where you could use to BBQ for a party. yes there's a clubhouse but that can only be used after hours. Pool is nice but only open when they bother to find a lifegaurd to work. What's up with that' Haven't used the fitness center so can't comment on that. Don't agree with the earlier post about dog poop, yes there some, that's bound to happen on occasion, but it's not all over. Roads are full of potholes, but they will be repaving very soon or so they say.
Gas Grills- You can't have one, it says so in your lease. You have to get one of the electric one's, ie: George Forman style, so why do you see gas grills all over the place'
I get the impression that they don't want kid's there, just a gut felling though. No playground and nothing planned for one. If they didn't want family's there why the 2 & 3 bedroom apartments' If they didn't want them there (kids)it should have been listed/advertised as a adult only community.
For me the biggest problem is parking, the total lack of it.
