I will say that the negativity in these reviews is a bit overwhelming yet some of it is understandable. I have been here since my bldg was completed. I am the first tenant there & that was one of the big draws for me. I love the fact that I have a garage (albeit tough to get into when the adjoining lot is full) but I manage most days. The plusses are definitely the spaciousness of the apartment, the utilities that are included & the fact that each apartment has it's own wsaher & dryer.

I will say that the walls are thinner than I would like them to be. My bedroom shares a common wall where the headboards of the beds would be & I have heard more from a former neighbor than I would like to admit... they were screamers!! A bit much at 2am!! I have seen several neighbors come & go with a new one recently so let's hope he's quiet!! I try to be very considerate to my neighbors but that isn't always reciprocated - ah, the joys of apartment living!

The bugs outside are annoying but they seem to be getting better as the years progress & landscaping gets established. Hopefully they will be better this year.

When I first moved in parking was horrendous & my lot wasn't even paved yet. There was a lot of construction still going on. Once they started assigning spots things got better. The lot by my bldg is one of the few with no assigned spots (we all have garages) so some nights it's hit or miss!! I give them credit for the improvements though!!

Overall I will have to say that I am pleased. I feel safe here depsite a few incidents in my lot (one summer it tended to be a lover's lane of sorts). The office staff has improved since I first got here - they are great now!! The maintence staff has been wonderful on the few ocassions that I've needed them. I do wish there was a place for the kids to play - I am tired of dodging them when pulling in - my car has been hit by footballs & rocks on several ocassions. I am waiting for one of them to get hit!! And yes, the kids can be noisy - that's their nature when outside playing but there are also some tenants who aren't kids - just irresponsible 20-somethings who can be even worse. There is nothing you can do about it other than talking to them or management.

I would recommend Oak Hill to toerhs with the caveats mentioned. It can be a nice place to live!!
