I wrote Fairfield on November 28th and still haven't heard anything from them. See the post below.

BE AWARE they don't do any background checks on people if you don't have your name on the lease. Other apartments do. I have no idea what is living beneath me. All I know is 2 adults, a baby, 4 teenagers, a bird and a dog are down there. Last night they had video games blasting until 6am. How can you get up for work when even your sound machine can't soften the sounds of the people underneath your bedroom'

PLEASE TAKE MY WARNING!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A SINGLE WOMAN!!

You are totally on your own. No one will help you. No one is on your side. There is no security. No one keeps tabs on what goes on. There are no checks and balances here. It's more like the wild, wild west.

I will keep you updated, as I feel it's necessary to keep the public aware of this unsafe condition I am living in. And I hope that this will serve as a record and as proof in case something happens to me.

Typical Fairfield. I'm in a place over in Babylon and one year of their non-responsive garbage is all I can take. They have no problem hauling you into court if your check gets lost in the mail (why you can't just drop your rent off at the local leasing office, I'll never know), but if you want some maintenance or to resolve any other issues, you have to call and call and nag and call and nag and get downright nasty with them--and even then, they lie right through their teeth about when things will be fixed. It's disgusting, and I will never rent from this company again. One year is all I can take.
