I have been here since 2005, and the only reason I'd move is because LI/NY is too expensive. Rent has increased each year, but if you research you will find that other complexes with similar amenities cost the same or more. My neighbors are great and have been here as long or longer than myself. The amenities are great: gated community, w/d in complex, central air, fitness center, tennis courts, pool, playground, jogging/walking trail. Also cat friendly (2 cats with no montly pet rent, just $100 each year with lease renewal). Very quiet even though right off Sunrise, Stop and Shop next door. Movie theater with movies Fri/Sat, clubhouse has holiday parties. Maintenance is prompt, staff always wave or smile and have been very friendly. Ample parking, not assigned. You can change light fixtures, carpet, paint etc., as long as you undo it when you leave. RE: RECENT CAR BREAK INS- This is unfortunate, but I still feel 100% safe here. Being in a gated community does not mean you are immune from vandals walking through the complex, or people breaking the unguarded entrance gate if they don't have their "clicker." However, management has promptly addressed the issue in several ways, and hopefully this is an isolated incident. I would still recommend this community to anyone in a heartbeat.

if you don't mind me asking, what were your gas and electric bills. trying to see if i can afford to live here. i looked at the apartments yesterday and i fell in love.

Could someone please post what the rent is at this location for a 1 bedroom apartment. I'm in the preliminary stages of finding an apartment complex and I want to find average prices before calling. Unfortunately there is no up-to-date website for this complex. Thank you!

I included the rent under the pricing section. But now it's $1335 for a 1br/1ba with w/d in unit. Gas bill is $62 on balanced billing, electric is $40s-50s. But I think I use less utilities than most. There are also storage units at the end of the complex for $35(?) or so a month if you have a lot of extra stuff.
