I moved into the community a few months ago and so far I have no complaints. Although a bit dark, there is never any issues parking (i park directly outside my unit each night) and the grounds are landscaped often. The neighborhood has been thus far safe and secure. Guards at the main booth make sure that i am called whenever someone arrives - with the exception of everyday or recurring visits that the guards get to know. I must say that i hear absolutely no noise from my neighbors, even with the windows fully open i only hear the sound of cars passing by on Sunrise Hwy - which takes some adjusting to, but now after 2 months, is a non-issue. Construction on the units is basic - no bells and whistles - but sturdy. I would have liked to have the choice of adding accent paint when moving in, but the standard units come in only white and any modifications must be returned at the end of the lease. Maintenance performed a decent cleanup of my current unit before i moved in - incluuding new carpeting, new HVAC vents, new screens, new filters, cleaned oven and appliances, waxed floor, etc. Some of the manitenance was done post move in as management gives 2 weeks for you to go through the place and raise any issues that you may see. Maintenance goes through this list and, in a timely manner, performs the required tasks. If you are planning to take an upper unit - furniture delivery may be an issue. They have a rather tight "foier" area that makes the delivery of oversized love seats a difficult taks for delivering companies. Mine damaged my couch 2x before they got it right. Pool and club house are great - if anything could be changes i would say that the gym could be upgraded and expanded. Only complaint at this time is that in the two months that i have been there, there are several occassions where the security gates have been left open for an extended period of time - but i think they have fixed whatever issue there was now.

Overall i am satisfied with the community and my decision to come to Saddle Rock. I have seen several of my friend's appts in Fairfield and other complexes and i'd say that this one is the best overall and offers the best value..
