$50.00 for a credit check then they put you on a waiting list. Never got the month I asked for and I had to call them and ask what was going on since they don't bother keeping you in the loop if you will not get to move in on the month you need. I asked them so "what number am I on this waiting list'" Their response was "we don't know, its a very long list and you cannot expect anything until 2009." Come to find out that other renters jumped the list in front of you and your out of an apartment and $50. No refund! Thanks Saddle Rock.

If you are still interested in moving there, I hope you like living on Sunrise Hwy. There is nothing but constant background noise of the six lane highway in your front yard as the geniuses who designed this place thought it might be a good idea to design a residential community right on the North Service Road of one of Long Island's busiest and most congested highways.

Not to mention if you are driving home from the west you have to go one exit east past your home and turn back west over the bridge as there is only 1 way to get into the complex, which I think is nice because if there's 2 things I love in life the most it's got to be wasting time and wasting gas. Once again, thanks Saddle Rock.

If you like frustration, car horns, continuous noise and hassles every day...this place is for you!

Where do I begin to comment on your review... first off, could it be that you didn't get a call or they didn't have the month you needed because there were no apartments available??? Then you complain about where the complex is located... obviously you knew where the complex was, so why did you want to move here in the first place? As for getting to the complex from the west, you need to get off the exit before the complex and then make a u-turn. How hard is that? Did you want an exit to drop you off right in front of the entrance? Try using google maps next time and you will save that 3 cents you waste on gas and your precious 2 minutes. As for your assumptions that you can hear noises from that massive 6-lane highway, you are wrong. You do not even live here, so how do you know what you can and cannot hear. For someone who actually does have an apartment here and is on the side closest to Sunrise, I can tell you that you cannot hear a peep when you are in your apartment. Good luck finding a place as good as Saddle Rock... you may be able to find some off of LI.

I already have found a complex better and cheaper than Saddle Rock. Sorry to hear that you are brainwashed by their staff. I guess you are old and never go outside of your little bubble to actually see rush hour traffic on Sunrise Highway and why this location is the worst possible place for "luxury" apartments. And for your information, it has been six months and no call for any apartment availability. They take your $50.00 and run and make it clear there are no refunds. I am not the only one they screwed so being that my new place didn't charge me for a credit check, Saddle Rock has a pretty nice income taking peoples money. I'm glad they're taking your money because you are a fool!

Maybe they didnt want you there, I looked at apartment 12/26. Already left security deposit and have move in date. Ive heard great things from people who live there and people who have lived in. Sounds like your just pissed because you didnt get in.

Evidently you probably didnt seem like a good prospective tenant or you would be living here! Too bad for you since this happens to be one of the nicer places on the island...not only in regards to amenities but to the people who live here also.
