I cannot wait to move out of this place!

I wish I had found this site before I moved in. I'm a single parent and recently rented a 2BR apartment here. Generally, I am patient and understanding, but living at this place has changed my demeanor. I have no intentions of renewing my lease whatsoever. It's really a joke that I can't park anywhere near my apartment because all of the spots are filled all of the time! I cannot remember the last time I was actually able to park in a spot near my unit, and I only have one car to park! It's complete aggravation taking a baby out of the car with groceries when you can't park anywhere near your unit! It really is not fair. What makes it so annoying is that I know quite a few units near me have more than the allowed two cars. When I signed the lease they told me that each unit was allowed two cars. What they conveniently forgot to tell me was that there are not enough parking spaces to go around and that they'll never, ever enforce this rule. Anyway, I too suffer from noise pollution. I've spoken to a few other residents here and make no mistake about, it's a big, big concern. The problem is that all the noise is generated and amplified from the common wall, which is unfortunately shared by the bedrooms. I hear stupid little things all night long like closet doors closing, walking, door slamming shut, TV's, stereos and talking. Noises like this can be ignored during the day, but try to fall asleep to a symphony of disturbing sounds at night! I've spoken to my neighbor about this and surprise-surprise, they were going to approach me about the same thing! We both promised to keep it down after 10PM. Nevertheless, I can still hear them and I'm sure they still hear me. Don't talk about private things in the bedroom, because someone will be able to hear you as clear as day! It's plainly evident that corners were cut when they built this place. Most notably a sound proofing insulating material of sorts. I guess if you can get an upstairs end unit, then maybe you won't have a noise problem. Needless to say, my experience here so far has been miserable. I've lived in a college dorm and a few other apartments throughout the years and I have to say that this is one of the worse in terms of parking and noise. Thank God I only signed a one-year lease because I cannot wait to move out of here.
